Rumors suggest Microsoft will unveil a new Arm-powered Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 devices and a host of new AI features for Windows. Microsoft has been building up to this moment for quite some time, so expect to hear a lot about its transition to Windows on Arm.

The Engadget team is on the ground in Seattle to cover all the news and announcements revealed at Microsoft Build 2024.

Microsoft Build is the company's annual conference that gives software engineers and enthusiasts a look at what Redmond's been working on across its various divisions. And while new Surface devices will be the company's hardware announcements, it's almost certain that AI will be the focus of Microsoft's keynote this year.

In addition to the keynote speeches, Microsoft Build 2024 will feature over 480 sessions across the three day event, with 251 of them offered online. Fortunately 175 of them will be recorded, so you might be able to catch up later if you miss one.

Microsoft is unveiling new Surface hardware, and lots of news about AI, ahead of this year's Build 2024 conference kicking off tomorrow.

Microsoft will have a Surface event on May 20th. It is anticipated that the tech giant will unveil new Surface laptops and tablets that run on Qualcomm's Arm-based Snapdragon X Elite CPU, which may provide longer battery life and AI computing capability.
